
The Campus Chapter 2004-2005 officers are Karla Frizzelle, President; Pat Gunter, 1st Vice President; Mary Ann Lofgren, 2nd Vice President; Tracy Brown, Secretary; and Charlotte Simpson, Treasurer. There are currently 31 members. Some recent activities of the Campus Chapter include a June Picnic at Pullen Park for members and prospective members; the State Meeting in Hickory; and a December Holiday Celebration at the Talley Student Center.
Tracy Brown received the Award of Excellence in Technology Utilization and Implementation and Mary Ann Lofgren received the Award of Excellence in Special Leadership for the Campus Chapter at the 2004 State Meeting in Hickory. Also, at the State Meeting, Donna Warren and Diana Reneau were named Honorary Members.

Southwest District
The 2004-05 Officers are Chris Austin, President; Patsy Richardson, Vice-President; Lisa Eubanks, 2nd Vice-President; Julie Campbell, Secretary; Dana Braswell, Treasurer; Cynthia Phares, Advisor. We have 100% membership in our district, Yeah!! Upcoming Events... 2005 Spring Meeting ... will be hosted by Polk County on April 8th. The District Public Relations committee will meet on January 28th in Rutherford County to plan a Secretaries Retreat! The committtee hopes to bring a fun team building event to the day. Thanks to the Southwest CED's and Dr. Crandall for their support. Congratulations!... There are special announcements in our district, we have three secretaries expecting babies! Lisa in Union County, Dawn in Burke County and Julie in Alexander County. We are sure to grow this year. Jamie Kerely Miller ( Alexander County), recently married. Congratulations goes out to Lorrene Pool on her recent retirement in December!
