Mike Regans
State ESP Professional Improvement Award
Mike Regans, Area Specialized Agent in Environmental Education housed in Greene County, is the recipient of the 2001 ESP Professional Improvement
Scholarship. Mike will use the funds to attend the 2001 International
Symposium on Composting and Compost Utilization in Columbus, Ohio. The
objective of the symposium is to serve as an international forum for the
latest research and engineering developments in the field of composting
and compost utilization, with emphasis on design, process control
bioremediatiion, microbial ecology, conpost utilization, environmental
issues and topic areas. The symposium will deliver scientific
information through a series fo plenary and concurrent technical
sessions including poster presentations. It will also include tours of
innovative composting and research facilities in Ohio. Mike'g goal is
to provide needed information to clientel which will enable them to
produce a high quality product in a profitable and environmentally safe
manner.
