Ann Summerlin
State ESP Meritorious Support Award
Anne H. Summerlin has made numerous outstanding contributions to the citizens of Franklin County in her role as the Administrative Extension Secretary for the Franklin County Extension Center. Most significant recently was her efforts to assist the County Extension Director (CED) and tobacco growers with accurate information (quotas, id numbers, barn and burner numbers, etc.) and materials needed to complete bulk barn retrofit kit applications resulting in these specific customers receiving over $400,000.00 in reimbursements. Her efforts allowed the CED to process customer applications promptly and accurately with only one return application (90 applications) for a name correction.
