-Youth Development Research Center - Dr. Downing has been given the charge to head this center. It will be a one stop for professionals to pull information and research on the youth in NC.
-There will be more investment into the State 4-H Youth Council.
-Working on some new partnerships with DPI and Science Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM). NCSU is one of 11 universities working with STEM. 4-H will be a part of the NC STEM innovative requesting 4 million dollars. We still have a way to go before it is approved. This is the first time that 4-H has been brought to this level. If you would like to learn more about STEM go to the NC State Website.
-We are also partnering with the NC Science House.
-The state is also working on developing a set of delivery modes to be used through out the state.
