Highlights: The committee worked closely with the South Central District to host the Annual Conference in Southern Pines, NC. The following speakers and workshop facilitators were secured:

• Keynote Speaker - Laura Hamilton, Laura Hammilton, INc. "Why Are You Looking For The Wizard?"
• Workshop Presneters:
  • Cheryl Kane, Barton & Kane Consolidated - "Internal Communications"
  • Dr. David Jenkins, AG and Ext. Ed. -" 21st Century Trends"
  • Ann Harris, MPA, NCSU - "Cultural Competence Training"
  • Tammy Kelly Elliott and Executive Committee Chairs - NCAE4HA Orientation

Recommendations: The committee should work closely with the host district to plan for the following: Administration, State Staff, and other association representatives participation; Head table arrangements and recognition of special guest. Committee also needs to look at the possibility of conducting at least one super seminar, along with the other workshops, which would enhance professional development.
