Module 9:

Weighty Questions


Overview:

This module discusses why it is important for you to balance a healthy appetite with fun ways to exercise.

Learning Objectives:

Participants will show knowledge change by demonstrating one of the following as a result of participating in this module:

Session 1: Explaining the importance of exercise for maintaining a healthy weight, as well as other health benefits of exercise.
Session 2: Identifying how to choose wisely in selection of restaurants and menus as well as how to eat moderate amounts of food when eating out.
Session 3: Discussing how exercise can be enjoyable.
Session 4: Developing a personal plan (ways) to maintain a healthy weight.

Participants will show behavior change by demonstrating one of the following as a result of participating in this module:Module 9
  • How they choose wisely when selecting restaurants and menus and eat in moderate amounts while dining out.
  • How they participate in enjoyable physical activity daily to maintain fitness and a healthy weight.
Module 10: Overcoming Obstacles: Using Kitchen Space
