The 2008 National Children & Youth Gardening Symposium, Greater Philadelphia Area, July 24-26th.

Hosted annually by the American Horticultural Society, this is a wonderful conference to network with folks around the country who are involved in working with youth in plant and soils. A mix of workshops, keynote speakers and field trips, there a lot of great ideas and inspiration are generated. A very open, sharing, and amiable group of folks attend, and include teachers, 4-H leaders, education people from public gardens, and anyone just thinking about doing projects with youth.
