Swain County Youth Council
The ultimate goal of the youth council initiative is to build good citizens and future leaders via hands-on learning accomplished through service to the community. The Swain County 4-H Youth Council is sponsored by NC Cooperative Extension with grant funding from the Cherokee Preservation Foundation.

4-H Outdoor Adventurers Club
Experience the outdoors through our National and State Parks. Participate in field trips, hikes, the Jr. Ranger program and other fun outdoor projects. Youth will become a Jr. Master Gardener and grow their own garden. Outdoor Adventurers 4-H Club has pledged to maintain the ornamental gardens of the Marianna Black Library as their community service project.
For youth ages: 5 – 18

West Swain 4-H Club
Swain County 4-H welcomes West Swain 4-H Club! Regular club meetings will be held in the western part of the county. Youth learn about 4-H, take part in various hands-on educational activities, develop friendships and have fun!
