The 16th annual Prestage Farms/Sampson County 4-H Youth Livestock Roundup will be held at the Sampson County Livestock Facility in Clinton. The Market Goat Show will begin at 6:00 pm on Friday, August 24, 2012. The Market Lamb & Ewe Show will begin at 9:00 am on Saturday, August 25, 2012 followed by the Heifer Show. Showmanship Classes will be held during the respective shows. Health papers are not required. Animals will be examined by an on-site Vet or Exension Agent. Health papers will be issued for $5.00 upon request. Sick animals will not be accepted.
All youth who have not reached their 19th birthday prior to January 1, 2012 are eligible to participate. Registration deadline is Friday, August 17, 2012.
